About this Wreck
destroyed by fire at grand isl. on the niagara r., where she sank and was abandoned. her crew escaped without casualty.

Wooden propeller freight steamer of 159 ft burned and sank on 12/4/1903 at Grand Isle in the Niagara River off Tonawanda, New York. The vessel carried a cargo of lumber at the time of the wreck.
